Preschool Program (7:30am - 3:00pm) The preschool morning hours are geared toward fun and play, but also include directed educational learning experiences in which the A Beka curriculum is utilized. This educational curriculum includes experiences in Bible time, Language skills development (language, listening, visual perception and motor skills, learning experiences leading to phonics and reading, writing and printing skills), Number skills and activity time (music, poetry, finger play, drama, nursery rhymes and Kinder Art). Afternoon for the preschooler is geared toward play time, lunch and nap. Parents are reminded that the preschool program is available on regular school days only, not during school holidays or the summer. School calendars are available from the office. Before a child may enter the preschool program, s/he must be able to use the bathroom without assistance |

Action Plus Program (3:00pm - 5:00pm) The Action Plus program begins with a snack (provided by parents and served by volunteers) and also includes physically active types of experiences such as age-appropriate free play, playground, equipment activities, directed play, active games and quiet games, manipulative skills and depending upon the day of the week, special event days such as puppets, story time, scooter day, etc. For the Elementary students (First through Sixth Grades) following snack time there is a study hall period, during which students will work on homework that has been assigned for the day. Upon completion of their homework, students are free to participate in the age-appropriate activities and play time. |
